Above are 5 new items Keepers are offering to our friends and our new visitors.  Just like the old “Do not disturb” signs you could put over the door knob at the hotel these are designed to go over any doorknob and be reminder, a positive saying to amuse and lift your spirits.  They also have our toll free number on it for easy reference.  Each one measures 3 3/4 ” X 8 1/2 inches and the hole to go over the doorknob is 2 1/2 ” in diameter which should fit most doorknobs.

Everything is gone except for what we just posted but it is back and we are going back to it, the Web Blog over at Keepers Korner, right here!  All of the blogs that were there are gone thanks to our turkish hacker so we will just have to deal with it.  Please come back over and see what is happening.

Whenever the blog at Keepers Korner is not working this will always be our backup location so keep ‘em both bookmarked.

As of today, it looks like keepers will be posting on this (our back up blog) for a while.  You see, KEEPERSKORNER was hacked into yesterday–in a most unpleasaant way.  It all began with an email from WordPress letting us know that someone was attempting to change our password and take over our info@keeperscorner email address.  Well, we contacted our webmaster and got advice on how to handle that situation.  Then, keepers noticed our stats are all messed up–which does not make us happy because we use the stats when presenting information to anyone who wants a look at what we do and how are doing with our ministry).  Well, by late afternoon, none of our passwords were valid any more which meant we could not access much of KK at all.  A. (our webmaster) immediately set about trying to rectify the situation as best he could–until he could contact WordPress.  The awful page our hacker placed on our blog was removed first.  Then, something else came up on our website blog.  Now, all of that has been removed but only because our website blog is temporarily offline.  We still can not access much on the site.  The passwords seem to be ok now but the hacker has now changed our usernames which means we are blocked in many ways.  This is the third time in two years that KK has been hacked into which is very frustrating for all of us who work on our ministry.

All keepers can do for now is hope that our friends will click our Archives Blog Tab on KK and then click our Backup Blog Tab so that they are brought here to read for the time being.  The truth is that we have no idea how many of our friends will remember about our having this Back Up Blog for situations like this one.  We really hope our friends do remember because Jm and keepers have desire to give this hacker any more power that he has already stolen from KEEPERSKORNER.

Right now, keepers are working hard to remind those in our system that THIS, TOO, SHALL PASS.  We do know that this is only temporary but it is easy to forget that when there is so much to be done and no means of doing the work.  Anyway, this too shall pass and keepers will return to writing on our home blog at KK.

Until then, we hope you will visit us here and keep our ministry in your prayers until everything gets back on track.

Today, JM and keepers are waiting to be told that our on site blog is, once again, functional.  We both feel like we have been waiting a long time for this news to come in but–truth be told–it has been only a little over two weeks now.  For us, the situation has been frustrating because we had no power to do anything about it.  All we could was sit around and wait for our hosting company to straighten out their problems so our blogs could be retrieved from their damaged hard drive.  As of right now, we do know that some of our blogs have been salvaged but we have no idea which ones or how many.  So, our waiting to hear game continues for now.

Other than that, JM and keepers spent yesterday on the road and in meetings concerning KEEPERSKORNER.  We came up with some really good ideas on how to change things here at KK to make our ministry better for those who reach out to us.  However, we are putting any changes on hold until the on site blog is up and running again.  Of course, should this not happen in the very near future–we will begin working on changes in spite of being unable to do things the way we want.

Today, JM and keepers are working on filling the requests which have come in so that each one can be shipped tomorrow. This work is more time consuming than anything else.  Keepers will spend the day in the office working on packing and shipping from there while JM will spend the day in our matting and framing center–getting the prints gallery ready before they go out the door.  Needless to say, this is not a weekend when JM and keepers have had a lot of time together which always leaves keepers feeling rather unsettled and lonely as we begin a new week.  But, the work has to be done and JM knows how much keepers love him while all keepers know how very blessed we are to have him as our life partner.

We need to get back to work so we can head off to bed tonight with our goals accomplished.  Here’s hoping our on site blog is functional some time later today.  We will post here when the switch to our new blog is ready to happen again.

Dear friends, we have another little one who needs our prayers for his survival and growth. He is Vincent and his great grandma Katie is one of our survivor friends, please read from her blog and remember her and her great grandson in your thoughts and prayers.

Hi loved ones,

My precious tiny little angel great grandson is holding his own. Today he is off the respirator. He has a eye infection but is responding to antibiotics. He has started taking breast milk through a tube.(Kayla has planned to breast feed all along). She is pumping her breast daily for the milk. The baby will receive antibodies from Kayla’s milk which will benefit Vincent greatly. He has gained back the weight he had lost. Although he is in a incubator now to control his body heat, I feel in my heart we are all blessed by his well being. For one such tiny human to be born so small and to thrive is a miracle and blessing from God himself.

I have seen life as well as death for many years now as a nurse, but it never ceases to amaze me what technology is available today, from just 30 years ago in medicine. The hospital has some very experienced doctors and staff to take care of the best . I have faith the baby shall do well under their care.

Kayla and Andrew are doing well. Kayla is worried about her baby, but she knows he is in good hands. One day she plans going into the neonatal field too as a nurse. Kayla is in very much monster, big, bad, momma bear protective mold concerning the baby. If you even sneeze she goes ape.

They are staying at the Ronald McDonald house during the babies hospitalization, for the ride is a long one home and back. Andrew went back to work, but he is home right after. Both are going to be fine parents. I am so proud of them.

I get to hold the baby tomorrow. Kayla has got to hold him once, and it was just so precious. We have raised my granddaughter well.

Thank you all for your prayers and kindred words. I cannot express how much you all have touched all of the family. Kayla and Andrew are aware of you prayers. She has asked me to formally thank each and every one of you so in this post I am.

The little  girl above by the name of Hannah is getting ready for open heart surgery to repair a hole in the upper chamber of her heart. Little Hannah is not even two years old yet and has a very big health problem. She is our friend Kat n all’s little niece and she is asking for prayers for her niece. Due to the location of the hole it cannot be done with a catheter and open surgery is required. She also has a breathing problem which means she has a tracheotomy tube in her now and needs oxygen when she sleeps.

Please include little Hannah and her family in your prayers for a successful surgery and recovery.
