Today, JM and keepers are waiting to be told that our on site blog is, once again, functional.  We both feel like we have been waiting a long time for this news to come in but–truth be told–it has been only a little over two weeks now.  For us, the situation has been frustrating because we had no power to do anything about it.  All we could was sit around and wait for our hosting company to straighten out their problems so our blogs could be retrieved from their damaged hard drive.  As of right now, we do know that some of our blogs have been salvaged but we have no idea which ones or how many.  So, our waiting to hear game continues for now.

Other than that, JM and keepers spent yesterday on the road and in meetings concerning KEEPERSKORNER.  We came up with some really good ideas on how to change things here at KK to make our ministry better for those who reach out to us.  However, we are putting any changes on hold until the on site blog is up and running again.  Of course, should this not happen in the very near future–we will begin working on changes in spite of being unable to do things the way we want.

Today, JM and keepers are working on filling the requests which have come in so that each one can be shipped tomorrow. This work is more time consuming than anything else.  Keepers will spend the day in the office working on packing and shipping from there while JM will spend the day in our matting and framing center–getting the prints gallery ready before they go out the door.  Needless to say, this is not a weekend when JM and keepers have had a lot of time together which always leaves keepers feeling rather unsettled and lonely as we begin a new week.  But, the work has to be done and JM knows how much keepers love him while all keepers know how very blessed we are to have him as our life partner.

We need to get back to work so we can head off to bed tonight with our goals accomplished.  Here’s hoping our on site blog is functional some time later today.  We will post here when the switch to our new blog is ready to happen again.
